Stuart Prebble, a former chief executive of ITV, set up Liberty Bell as an independent television production company for the north-east of England, in Autumn 2002 with founding partner Andrea Wonfor OBE.

They have delivered a number of programmes to UK broadcasters including Grumpy Old Men with 4 x 40 mins episodes for BBC2, transmitted in October 2003 and Grumpy Old Men at Christmas - 1 X 60 mins for BBC2, on Christmas Day.

Stuart Prebble, the former chief executive of ITV who quit after the £1bn-plus ITV Digital debacle, has bounced back to life as a programme-maker with his first documentary centring on a theme close to home.
