Ken Stott
Ken Stott was born in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1955. Until he was fifteen Ken studied ballet and was the only male dancer in Scotland to achieving honours in every exam and he then attended Mountview Theatre School, London. One of the older members of the Scot pack, Ken Stott has built up his film career from a small part in Shallow Grave (1994) to co-starring with Billy Connolly in The Debt Collector, by way of roles in Fever Pitch (1997), The Boxer (1997) and Plunkett and Macleane (1999). Stott was, along with Albert Finney and Tom Courtenay, part of the original cast of the play Art, and since 1999, lead TV roles in ITV's hit cop-drama THE VICE and the BBC's outstanding MESSIAH thrillers have captivated audiences and raised his profile, making him a household name He is half Sicilian - his mother was en route to America when she met Stott's father in Scotland.
