Following on from the BBC TV series of Grumpy Old Men, I thought it might be an idea to launch a Grumpy Old Men website - and here it is!
As Geoffrey Palmer said at the end of the first show, 'Grumpy old men are a hitherto silent majority... But they are no longer suffering in silence!'
I will start off though with a personal grump - most of the grumps on the TV series are younger than me!! At 55, I do not consider myself old - my idea of a Grumpy Old Man is Richard Wilson from One Foot in the Grave - perhaps the BBC should have called the show Grumpy Middle-Aged Men!!
If you have not seen the show, it includes a diverse list of men from Bob Geldof to Richard Madely; Bill Nighy to Arthur Smith; Rory McGrath to John Peel and Tony Hawks to Ken Stott.
